Inundation on Jalan DI Panjaitan Recedes Fully

Heavy rain caused flooding of approximately 40-60 centimeters on Jalan DI Panjaitan in Cipinang Cempedak Urban Village, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta. However, the flooding has now receded.

The flooding began around 11:20 AM

Jatinegara District's Head Unit of Water Resources, Meta Pradoningrum said her side deployed 10 blue troop personnel and two floating pumps.

Sunter Jaya PPSU Personnel Handle Inundation Responsively

"The flooding began around 11:20 AM. By around 12:30 PM, the water had receded as the rain subsided. However, personnel remained on standby at the location due to the cloudy weather," she said, Wednesday (2/4).

Meta explained the inundation handling was run together with PPSU personnel.

Meanwhile, Head of Cipinang Cempedak Urban Village, Rico Eka Putra Rifai stated nine PPSU personnel were deployed to assist the handling.

"PPSU personnel were deployed to Jalan DI Panjaitan to clean the garbage that blocked the channel, as well as arrange traffic," he stated.

Meanwhile, one of the motorcycle riders, Suhudi (47), appreciated the swift response of joint personnel in handling the flooding.

"Thanks to the personnel of PPSU, Water Resources and police for handling this situation," he admitted.
